On the auspicious occasion of Lohri, we visited and celebrated lohri with the elderly residents of ‘The Home for Old and Destitute’, Sec-15. This place is home for about 20 aged people who have been abandoned by their own children. Cultural programme and bhajans were presented by the students of UIET, Chandigarh and members of The Nature Cure Society to entertain the elders. The celebrations generated loads of happiness.
